Our guest speaker made history when he used YouTube to show his displeasure with a major multinational corporation that failed in the area of customer service. After spending many months trying to get satisfaction, our guest speaker used his natural talent to create and post videos to YouTube. He made his point, he made his career, and at the same time, he made social media history.

Since then, he’s been using what he learned in his person experiences to promote social advocacy for customer service. He’ll be delivering the MEGAComm keynote speech in the morning to open the conference and will present one session in the MARCOM track later in the day (and if we are all very lucky, he’ll share his amazing music with us at the end of the day).

Dave Carroll is an award winning singer-songwriter and social media innovator from Halifax Canada. For over two decades in the music business as a solo artist and with the band Sons of Maxwell, Dave has become known as a master storyteller.  He also became familiar to 150 million people across the world when his 2009 YouTube music video about a customer service issue with an airline, called ‘United Breaks Guitars’, beaks Guitars fame.
His ability to extract the essence of a message and craft it into song is a rare gift that is attracting fans of all ages. Songwriter, performer, author, professional speaker and consumer advocate, Dave Carroll is said to be “one of the nicest guys in the business” and one of Atlantic Canada’s brightest shining stars. He is as excited to come to Israel for the first time as we are to have him here! He will be giving the keynote speech in the morning, offering a sessionecame a worldwide media sensation. Since then his career as an entertainer and songwriter has expanded. He is now a highly sought after professional speaker, he will soon become a published author and there is increasing demand for Dave to write songs for other people and organizations.
